Camshaft Bearing Installation And
Removal Group
Start By:
a.
remove camshaft
1.
For assembly reference purposes, note the oil hole
orientation in each camshaft bearing before removal.
2.
Use Tool (A) and remove the camshaft bearings from
the cylinder block.
NOTE:
The following steps are for the installation of the
camshaft bearings.
3.
Use Tool (A) to install all camshaft bearings in the
cylinder block.
4.
On all camshaft bearings, except the front bearing, the
oil hole is located at the top of the bore as illustrated.
