Start By:
a.
remove cylinder head assembly
1.
Use Tool (A) to compress valve spring (1). Remove
retainer locks (2), the spring retainer (3) and valve
spring (1).
NOTE:
The Type 1 exhaust valve retainers and springs
(3) and (1) are the same as the intake valve
retainers and springs. The Type 2 exhaust valve
retainers and springs (3) and (1) are not the same
as the intake valve retainers and springs.
2.
Remove valve seal (4) and valve (5). Repeat this
process for all inlet & exhaust valves.
NOTE:
The following steps are for the installation of the
inlet & exhaust valves.
