Start By:
a.
remove drum
1.
Drain the oil from the drum support housing into a
suitable container. The capacity of the drum support
housing is 2 liters (0.5 U.S. gal).
2.
Position wooden blocks under support plate (1) as
shown.
3.
Attach a lifting strap and a suitable lifting device to
support plate (2) as shown.
4.
Remove the five bolts, and remove support plate (2)
from the isolation mounts. The weight of the support
plate is 250 kg (550 lb).
5.
Attach a lifting strap and a suitable lifting device to
support plate (1). Remove the five bolts, and remove
support plate (1) from the isolation mounts. The weight
of the support plate is 250 kg (550 lb).
6.
Attach a lifting strap and hoist to vibratory motor (3) as
shown. Remove four bolts (3), and remove vibratory
motor (4) from the drum support housing. The weight of
the vibratory motor is 18 kg (40 lb). When installing, use
9S-3263 Thread Lock on the four bolts.
