the cover for any obstruction that would
prevent normal seating. Make sure Internal
t h r e a d s of front cover and threads on
capscrews are in good conditions.

a. Apply a light coat of non-hardening
gasket cement to the bore in the front cover.
Press new shaft seal into the bore and wipe off
excess cement. Stake seal in three places.
NOTE: Generously lubricate all parts with SAE
10W oil during pump assembly.
