NOTE:
The shipping weight of the roller with the padfoot
shell kit is 26,680 lb (12102 kg).
1.
Raise the rear of the machine so that the wheel
assemblies are off the floor. Install Tooling (A) under
the machine as shown.
2.
Loosen eight nuts (1).
NOTE:
On assembly, tighten nuts (1) to a torque of 430 ±
60 N· m (316 ± 44 lb-ft).
3.
Position a lift truck with the forks under wheel assembly
(2) as shown. Use Tool (B) to fasten the wheel
assembly to the mast of the lift truck. Remove eight
nuts (1), and remove wheel assembly (2) from the
machine. The weight of the wheel assembly is 680 kg
(1500 lb).
NOTE:
For installation of the wheel assembly, reverse the
removal steps.
