Install two bearing races (34) in the pump housing.
12.
Install two bearings (35), two wires (36) and lever (37)
on cradle (39).
13.
Clean the top surface of cradle (39) and lubricate
bearings (35) with clean hydraulic system oil.
14.
Use 12.7 mm (0.50 in) wide masking tape (88) to hold
the bearings and cradle together as shown.
15.
Loosely position cradle assembly (39) on the bearing
races in pump housing (49). Separate the ends of the
masking tape. While holding bearings (35) in place, pull
the masking tape from around the two bearings. When
the masking tape has been removed, position the two
bearings firmly in the bearing races.
16.
Install pin (51) in each side of pump housing (49). The
pin must be installed with wires (36) centered in the pin
slot. Install O-ring seals on plugs (51). Install plugs (50)
in pump housing (49).
NOTE:
The Lift-Off Limitation adjustment is controlled by
the thickness of shim (47).
17.
Determine the Lift-Off Limitation Adjustment of the
rotating group as follows:
a.
Place port plate (17) on a surface plate as shown.
The flat side of the port plate should be against the
surface plate.
b.
Install Tool (A) in the inside diameter of port plate (17)
as shown.
