Place the steering control unit (SCU) on end so internal
components will not fall out.
6.
Remove geroter housing (4). Lift the housing straight
up.
7.
Remove seal (5) from geroter housing (4). Check the
seal for damage or wear and replace if necessary.
8.
Remove geroter (6), spacer (7), drive (8) (not shown)
and spacer plate (9) as a unit.

NOTE:
Geroter housing (4) and geroter (6) are not
serviced separately.
10.
Remove O-ring seal (10). Check the O-ring seal for
damage or wear and replace if necessary.
11.
Remove spool and sleeve assembly (11) from control
housing (12).
