MALFUNCTION
No Input or Output Power At Starter Relay.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1.
Check power at starter relay.
2.
Open left-side door assembly (TM 5-3895-379-10).
3.
Attach positive (+) probe of multimeter to input terminal (wire 109-OR) of starter relay.
4.
Attach negative (-) probe of multimeter to frame.
5.
Measure voltage.
6.
Attach positive (+) probe of multimeter to output terminal (wire 304-WH) of starter relay.
7.
Move back from Roller.
8.
Have assistant turn and hold engine start switch to START (full right) position (TM 5-3895-379-10)
for not more than 30 seconds.
9.
Measure voltage.
10.
Have assistant turn engine start switch to OFF position (TM 5-3895-379-10).
a.
If 24 to 28 VDC are present at input terminal (wire 109-OR), but not at output terminal
(wire 304-WH), go to next malfunction.
b.
If 24 to 28 VDC are not present at input terminal (wire 109-OR) and roller otherwise has
power, repair or replace wire (wire 109-OR) and connectors (WP 0195).
c.
If 24 to 28 VDC are present at output terminal (wire 304-WH), repair or replace wire
(wire 304-WH) and connectors (WP 0195).
