a. Disconnect hoses and remove pump or motor from
unit.
e. With fingers or two screwdrivers remove bronze
rotating part of the seal from drive shaft (see figure 7-64).
b. Insert Tru-Arc #7 pliers in snap ring holes, compress
the ring and roll it out (see figure 7-61).
CAUTION: Use care not to damage bronze rotating ring or
shaft splines.
c. Remove the aluminum
seal
retainer
with
a
screwdriver (see figure 7-62).

d. Remove the steel stationary seal.
