Disassemble Drum Propel Motor

remove drum propel motor
NOTICE
Dirt can damage precision made parts of the motor.
Disassemble the motor on a clean work surface. Clean all
the parts separately in clean solvent and let the parts dry
at room temperature. Check the condition of all parts and
refer to Guideline For Reusable Parts, Piston Pumps And
Motors

reconditioning and determining the reusability of parts.
1.
Remove four bolts (2), and remove flushing valve (1)
from the end cover.
2.
Disassemble flushing valve (1) using the following
procedure:
a.
Remove three O-ring seals (13) from valve body (14).
Check the O-ring seals for wear or damage and
replace if necessary.
b.
Remove lockscrew (6), pressure spring (8) and relief
poppet (9) from valve body (14).
c.
Remove O-ring seal (7) from lockscrew (6). Check
the O-ring seal for wear or damage and replace if
necessary.
d.
Remove retaining ring (12), and remove orifice (11)
from relief poppet (9).
e.
Remove lockscrew (3), pressure spring (5) and guide
(10) from the valve body.
f.
Remove O-ring seal (4) from lockscrew (3). Check
the O-ring seal for wear or damage and replace if
necessary.
g.
Remove lockscrew (19), pressure spring (17), disc
(16) and spool (15) tom valve body (14).
h.
Remove O-ring seal (18) from lockscrew (19). Check
the O-ring seal for wear or damage and replace if
necessary.
