Engine Mounts - Inspect

Open the engine compartment.
There are four engine mounts. There is one engine mount at
each corner of the engine.

Engine vibration can be caused by improper mounting of the
engine. Engine vibration can be caused by loose engine
mounts or deteriorated engine mounts.
Inspect the engine mounts for deterioration.
Replace any engine mount that is deteriorated.
Inspect the engine mounts for correct bolt torque.
Tighten the mounts if the mounts are loose.
Close the engine compartment.
Engine Oil Level - Check

NOTICE
Do not under fill or overfill engine crankcase with oil.
Either condition can cause engine damage.
Stop the engine in order to check the oil level. DO NOT check
the oil level when the engine is running.
Park the machine on a level surface.

Open the engine compartment

Remove the dipstick (1). Wipe the dipstick with a clean
cloth. Insert the dipstick. Remove the dipstick and note
the oil level. Insert the dipstick.
NOTE:
Refer to page 1-10 for the correct amount of oil
that is used when the oil is changed. The correct
amount of oil determines the correct level of the
oil in the FULL range on the dipstick.
