Method B (perform anytime).
a.
Start engine and operate water spray system (TM 5-3895-379-10).
b.
Turn slot in nozzle (Figure 10, Item 1) until water spray fan pattern (Figure 10, Item 3) makes full and
equal contact with drum surface (Figure 10, Item 2).
c.
Turn off water spray system and engine (TM 5-3895-379-10).
