DISASSEMBLY
NOTE
Tag and mark each component to ensure correct assembly.
1.
Remove two retaining rings (Figure 1, Item 1) and washers (Figure 1, Item 2) from each end of rocker arm
(Figure 1, Item 3). Discard retaining rings and washers.
2.
Slide components off each end of rocker shaft assembly.
3.
Remove end rocker arm (Figure 1, Item 3) from rocker shaft (Figure 1, Item 10).
4.
Remove remaining rocker arms (Figure 1, Item 3), rocker shaft brackets (Figure 1, Item 4), springs
(Figure 1, Item 5), and washers (Figure 1, Item 6) from rocker shaft (Figure 1, Item 10).
5.
Remove rocker arm bushing (Figure 1, Item 7) from rocker shaft (Figure 1, Item 10).
6.
If necessary, remove bolt (Figure 1, Item 9) and oil supply connection (Figure 1, Item 8) from rocker shaft
(Figure 1, Item 10).
