CORRECTIVE ACTION - Continued
NOTE
Pump should discharge 1.5 gal in 60 seconds at 20 psi.
10.
Place an empty 5 gal bucket under plug cock for 60 seconds.
11.
Remove bucket from stream of water.
12.
Turn engine start switch to OFF position (TM 5-3895-379-10).
13.
Turn battery disconnect switch to OFF position (TM 5-3895-379-10).
14.
Measure amount of water collected in bucket.
15.
Remove plug cock, pressure gauge, and line.
a.
If 1 gal or less or water is collected, replace water spray pump (Volume 2, WP 0270).
b.
If 1.0 to 1.5 gal of water is collected, perform the following:
(1)
Install input and output water lines on water spray pump with two hose clamps.
(2)
Install cover on bumper assembly with four washers and screws.
(3)
Clean and inspect spray pipe assembly (Volume 2, WP 0267).
