MALFUNCTION
Functional Light Relay Faulty.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1.
Remove functional light relay from operator station (WP 0155).
2.
Set multimeter to measure ohms.
3.
Touch positive (+) probe of multimeter to terminal 85.
4.
Touch negative (-) probe of multimeter to terminal 86 of functional light relay.
5.
Multimeter should measure zero ohms.
6.
Touch positive (+) probe of multimeter to terminal 87A.
7.
Touch negative (-) probe of multimeter to terminal 30 of functional light relay.
8.
Multimeter should measure zero ohms.
9.
Move positive (+) probe of multimeter to terminal 87.
10.
Keep negative (-) probe of multimeter at terminal 30 of relay.
11.
Multimeter should measure infinite ohms.
a.
If multimeter does not measure zero ohms between terminals 85 and 86, replace functional
light relay (WP 0155).
b.
If multimeter does not measure zero ohms between terminals 30 and 87A, replace functional
light relay (WP 0155).
c.
If multimeter does not measure infinite ohms between terminals 30 and 87, replace functional
light relay (WP 0155).
d.
If all continuity checks are OK, go to next malfunction.
