MALFUNCTION
Rear Vibration Sensor Ground Fault.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
WARNING
Remove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags and bracelets. If jewelry contacts
electrical connection, a direct short may occur resulting in injury or death and
damage to equipment.
1.
Disconnect vibration sensor connection from wiring harness connector.
2.
Set multimeter to measure ohms.
3.
Touch positive (+) probe of multimeter to harness connector (wire 200-BK).
4.
Touch negative (-) probe of multimeter to good ground.
a.
If infinite ohms are measured, repair or replace wire 200-BK and connectors to vibration
sensor (WP 0195).
b.
If zero ohms are measured, go to next malfunction.
