FINAL DRIVE
m. Press outer planetary assembly out of the drive
drum hub using an arbor press (see figure 8-9).
CAUTION: The drum hub must be supported in three
equally spaced points when pressing out the
outer planetary assembly to prevent
damage to the drum hub.
n. Disassembly of drive drum hub. Remove the oil
seal for replacement. Check that companion flange seal
surface is smooth (see figure 8-10).
