Connect all linkages on the bottom part of the top cover (1) assembly.

Install the operating control shafts.

Connect the hydraulic oil tank filler hose with the filler pipe and tighten the hose clamp (par. 154).

163. Steering Roll Scrapers
a. General. The spring-actuated steering roll scrapers are mounted on both sides of the steering roll.
The
scrapers remove dirt, tacky materials, gravel, and other embedded foreign matter from the steering roll face.
b. Removal (fig. 75).

Remove and discard the cotter pin (7) securing the scraper bolt nut (8).
