Disconnect the negative battery cable at the battery.
6.
Disconnect the battery cable from the first battery.
7.
Remove the negative battery cable from the second
battery. This will allow you to remove the cable.
8.
Remove the positive battery cable from the second
battery. In order to remove the cable that connects the
two batteries, you must remove two clamps. The two
clamps are located under the radiator at the rear of the
machine.
9.
Remove the cable from the starter motor.
10.
Perform the necessary repairs. Replace the cables or
the batteries, as needed.
11.
Reverse the above steps in order to reconnect the
batteries.
12.
Connect the battery cable at the battery disconnect
switch.
13.
Install the battery disconnect switch key. Turn the
battery disconnect switch to the ON position.
14.
Install the battery compartment covers.

Remove the two hand knobs (1).
2.
To remove the filters, pull upward on the handle (2).

Clean the filters (3), or replace the filters.
4.
Install the filters in the reverse order of the above steps.
