Axle Oil Level (Rear) - Check

NOTE:
The differential level/fill plug is located on the
back side of the rear axle.
1.
Remove the level/fill plug. Maintain the oil level to the
bottom of the level/fill plug opening. If necessary, add
oil.
2.
Clean the level/fill plug. Install the level/fill plug.

The drain plug is located on the bottom of the differential.
Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "SOS Oil
Analysis" and to Operation and Maintenance Manual,
"Sampling Interval and Location of Sampling Valve" for
information that pertains to obtaining an oil sample from the
axle.
