Attach suitable lifting device to drive plate (6) as shown.
Remove ten bolts (5), and remove drive plate (6) and
drum gear reducer (7) as a unit from the isolation
mounts. The weight of the drive plate and drum gear
reducer as a unit is 290 kg (638 lb).

Position drive plate (6) and drum gear reducer (7) as
shown. Remove ten bolts (9), and use a hoist and lifting
straps to remove drive plate (6) from drum gear reducer
(7). The weight of the drive plate is 180 kg (396 lb).
NOTE:
For installation of the drum gear reducer, reverse
the removal steps.
NOTE:
After the drum gear reducer has been installed, fill
it with oil to the correct level. See the Operation &
Maintenance Manual for the correct procedure.
