Vibratory Electrical System
SMCS Code: 6606
Illustration 38
Major Components Of The Vibratory Circuit
(1) Propel range switch. (2) Fuse. (3) Vibratory control solenoids. (4) Throttle switch. (5) Vibratory on/off switch. (6) Vibration control
switch. (7) Frequency control/adjustment card. (8) Resistor. (9) Variable frequency control.
The vibratory electrical system controls the hydraulic system
for the drum vibration. The circuit turns the vibration system
ON and OFF. The circuit also controls the vibration amplitude.
In order to start the vibratory system, throttle switch (4) must
be in HIGH and propel range switch (1) must be in LOW.
The vibration control switch (6) controls the modes of
amplitude: high, low, or OFF. The variable frequency control
meters the circuit to determine the rate of vibrations per
minute.
The following items are the major components of the vibratory
circuit:
propel range switch (1)
fuse (2)
vibratory control solenoids (3)
throttle switch (4)
vibratory on/off switch (5)
vibration control switch (6)
frequency control/adjustment card (7)
resistor (8)
variable frequency control (9)
