ADJUSTMENT
1.
Attach belt tension gauge (Figure 3, Item 1) to V-belts (Figure 4, Item 7).

2.
Slide alternator (Figure 4, Item 1) away from or toward engine (Figure 4, Item 2) to adjust belt tension.
3.
Maintain 80 lb (355 Nm) of belt tension while tightening screw (Figure 4, Item 5) and nut (Figure 4, Item 8).
