Steering System Schematic
(1) Hydraulic oil tank. (2) Gear pump. (3) Relief valve. (4) Fan Motor. (5) Metering pump. (6) Steering cylinders. (7) Priority valve.
The steering circuit is composed of four main components:
The hydraulic oil tank (1).
Gear pump (2).
Metering pump (5).
The left and right steering cylinders (6).
The gear pump (2) delivers oil to the steering circuit, the fan
motor (4), the leveling blade, and the charge circuit. Typically,
the requirements of the oil flow for the steering circuit are
significantly less than the available pump flow. The fan motor
and the leveling blade system will slow down under intensive
turning situations. The total oil flow to the charge system
should be consistent at all times.
