Propel Control

a. With parking brake OFF (parking
brake switch pulled up), check that
propel control lever moves smoothly
without sticking or binding in forward
and reverse positions.
Always apply parking brake before
dismounting the Roller while the
engine is running. Failure to comply
may result in personal injury or death.
NOTE
Backup alarm will not operate if
backup alarm cutoff switch is turned
off.
b. Check that backup alarm sounds
when propel control lever is placed in
reverse position.
c. Return propel control lever to neutral
position.
d. Start engine (page 3-6).
Propel control lever
does not move in
forward or reverse
positions.
Backup alarm does
not sound while cutoff
switch is turned ON.
