FRONT HANDRAIL ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

REMOVAL
CAUTION
Failure to hold handrail assembly in place during removal will allow handrail assembly to fall and become
damaged.
NOTE
Front handrail assembly weighs 35 lb (16 kg).
1.
While assistant holds front handrail assembly (1), remove eight locknuts (2), washers (3), screws (4), washers (3)
from left- and right-side of front handrail assembly. Discard locknuts.

Remove four screws (4), washers (3) and front handrail assembly (1) from platform assembly (5). Discard locknuts.
INSTALLATION
1.
With assistance, install front handrail assembly (1) on platform assembly (5) with 12 washers (3), screws (4), eight
washers (3) and new locknuts (2). Tighten locknuts to 60 lb-ft (81 Nm).
