MALFUNCTION
No Power To Brake Solenoid.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1.
Disconnect harness connector from brake control connector (wire 777-PU).
2.
Set multimeter to measure VDC.
3.
Touch positive (+) probe of multimeter to connector P20, pin 1 (wire 777-PU).
4.
Touch negative probe (-) of multimeter to good ground.
5.
Turn engine start switch to OFF position (TM 5-3895-379-10).
6.
Turn battery disconnect switch to OFF position (TM 5-3895-379-10).
a.
If 24 to 28 VDC are measured at brake control connector, (wire 777-PU), replace brake
control valve (WP 0216).
b.
If 24 to 28 VDC are not measured at brake control connector (wire 777-PU), close left-side
door assembly (TM 5-3895-379-10) and go to next malfunction.
