CORRECTIVE ACTION - Continued
a.
If cold start heater and area of intake manifold around cold start heater are warm, turn battery
disconnect switch to OFF position (TM 5-3895-379-10) and notify supervisor that engine
smokes excessively.
b.
If cold start heater and area of intake manifold around cold start heater are not warm, go to
next malfunction.
