edges are sharp enough to bite into the metal surface. Replace the star lockwashers if they are flat, or if the edges are
broken and dull. Inspect the mounting bracket for corrosions, warpage, breaks, cracks, and elongated mounting holes.
Replace the bracket if warped or cracked. Inspect the pulley for broken off edges, worn, damaged, or corroded belt
groove, pitted or cracked pulley shaft hole. Replace the pulley if it is cracked, twisted, or worn. Do not attempt to weld a
cracked pulley as the deposit of weld metal will throw the pulley off
