Hydraulic System Oil Filter - Replace

NOTICE
Take extreme care to insure the cleanliness of the
hydraulic oil. Keep the hydraulic oil clean in order to
extend the component life and assure the maximum
performance.

1.
Open the engine compartment.
2.
There are two filters. There is one filter on the right side
of the machine, and there is one filter on the left side of
the machine. The filters are located near the front of the
machine. The filters are located behind the frame. The
propel filter (1) is on the right side of the machine. The
vibratory filter (2) is on the left side of the machine.

In order to catch any oil that spills, place a suitable
container under the fliers.
4.
Remove the two filter elements. Clean the filter bases.
Discard the filters in a proper manner.
5.
Coat the gasket of new filters with clean oil.
6.
Install the new filter elements. Hand tighten the
elements. When the gasket contacts the filter base, turn
the filter by 270 degrees more. This will tighten the filter
sufficiently. The filters have index marks that are
spaced at 90 degree intervals.

7.
Start the engine. Allow the hydraulic oil to warm.
Maintain the oil to the level mark on the decal that is
near the sight gauge. If necessary, add oil.

Close the engine compartment.
