Safety
Be sure hitch points and the towing device are
adequate.
Connect trailing equipment to a drawbar or hitch only.
Never straddle a wire rope cable or similar device, nor
allow others to do so.
No personnel should be between the machine and
trailing equipment when maneuvering to connect them.
Block the tongue or hitch of trailing equipment to align
it with the drawbar or hitch.
Know the maximum height and reach of your machine.
Always keep the Rollover Protective Structure (ROPS)
installed (if equipped) when operating the machine.
Machine Parking
Park on a level surface. If necessary to park on a
grade, block the machine.
Move the propel control lever to the center or STOP
position.
Engage the parking brake.
Lower all attachments to the ground.
Stop the engine.
Turn the engine start switch to OFF.
Turn the battery disconnect switch to OFF when
leaving the machine for an extended period of a month
or longer. This will prevent battery drain by short
circuits or current draw made by some of the
components, or by vandalism.
