In summary, the standard SOS oil sampling interval for all
engines remains at 250 hours. While 500-hour oil sample
intervals remain acceptable for non-engine compartments, they
are not necessarily optimal. Under the above conditions, 250-
hour oil sampling intervals are recommended.
Location of the Sampling Valves

The oil sampling valve for the engine oil is located on the right
side of the engine, near the steering pump.

The oil sampling valve for the hydraulic system is located
behind the frame on the left side of the machine. The valve is
located near the propel filter.
