Do not step on battery cover. Damage to
batteries and cables could occur.
a. Using three-point contact, climb step
and slowly remove filler cap from
radiator.
Pressure in radiator must be released
before removing cap. Failure to comply
may result in injury.
b. Slowly open radiator fill cap by turning
cap to the left until pressure starts to
release from radiator. Wait until
pressure is fully released before
removing cap.
c. Check that coolant level is approxi-
mately 1/2 in. (13 mm) below fill port.
If coolant level is low, add coolant.
d. Inspect radiator fill cap for missing,
cracked, torn, or stretched gasket.
e. Install radiator fill cap on radiator.
Turn cap to the right until tight.
Coolant level is low.
Fill cap has missing,
cracked, torn, or
stretched gasket.
Notify Unit
Maintenance.
