Upper housing assembly is under spring tension. Wear eye protection and use caution when removing upper
housing assembly. Failure to follow this warning may cause injury.

While assistant compresses seat suspension assembly (15), remove drive shaft (26) from retainer (27) and upper housing
assembly (21). Discard retainer.
16.
Drive shaft (26) from retainer (27) and lower housing assembly (28). Discard retainer.
17.
Remove gear assembly (29) and flatwasher (30) from upper housing assembly (21).

Remove bevel gear (31) from angle bracket (32) and

Remove two locknuts (33), square neck bolts (34) and
angle bracket (32) from upper housing assembly (21).
Discard locknuts.
