Use pliers to hold pin (33). Push the pin against the
spacer until the hook on the pin fits under the spacer.
Install the remaining two pins (33) in the grooves in the
Position balljoint (32) on the three pins.
Put clean hydraulic oil on nine pistons (30). Install the
pistons, in their original locations, in plate (31). Install
the plate and pistons in cylinder block (29). Move the
plate from side to side to ensure that the pistons move
freely in the bores of the cylinder block.
NOTE: Use a clean, discarded O-ring seal that is long
enough to at least twice go around the cylinder
block and pistons. The O-ring seal is used to hold
the pistons and cylinder block together during
Use O-ring seal (71) as shown to hold the pistons in
place inside the cylinder block. Position the cylinder
block on the shaft. Lower the cylinder block until the
pistons are against the cradle assembly. When the
cylinder block is in position, remove O-ring seal (71).
Position pod plate (27) on cylinder block (29).
Install O-ring seal (28) in the housing.
Install the O-ring seal on plug (26). Install spring (22),
shims (23), retainer (24), valve spool (25) and plug (26)
in end cover (10).
